As we approach the end of another year we have to consider the cost implications for the Club for the forthcoming year. The Club stood the cost of increased Bath Hire charge for last year but unfortunately with the rising costs in running the club, we have no option but to increase fees and memberships for next year. We have summarized below in graph form to illustrate where your child’s fees are spent. The largest contribution is the Bath Hire charges. The bath charges increased by 10% last year and we are expecting a similar increase this year

The Club has also to pay an affiliation fee to the ASA for each member. The other costs are for transport, Insurance, galas, raffles prizes, trophies, awards, medals, advertising, printing, postage, stationary. All the teachers, coaches and volunteers have to go on numerous courses Such as Child Protection and Reach and Rescue for example.

Please could we ask in your co-operation in amending your Standing Orders to reflect the new fees as from 1st January. Membership Forms will be sent out in the post and we ask if they all could be returned as soon as possible in January together with the £30 Membership. Cheques payable to B.C.A.S.C.

The Club needs more people for the Committee, without members there will be no swimming Club! Please think about giving some of your time to help run the Club.
