Schools Biathlon On the 11th November at Blackpool many of our swimmers took part in the NW Schools Biathlon Championships and all emerged with great credit from the day. Those who competed were: Ethan Smallwood (who finished second in year 5 Boys), Ewan Smallwood, Callum Hudson, Kieran Atkinson, Elliot Smallwood, Sally Searson (who finished second in year 6 Girls), Katie Jepson, Elle Howarth, Hannah Jepson (all these girls were from Feniscowles School, Blackburn and their Team won the year 6 Girls title), Emily Fletcher (who finished second in year 8 Girls), Victoria Harris, Charlotte Ashton (all these girls were from St Wilfrids School, Blackburn and their Team won the year 8 Girls title). National Schools Biathlon Ethan, Sally and Emily qualified for the National Schools Biathlon Championships in their own right, and both winning Teams also qualified for the same event which will be held at Bath University towards the end of February next year.
